About KDAA
Korea-Deuschland Architektur Assoziation

KDAA is a non-profit professional organization of the experts in architecture from South Korea and Germany for active exchange between the two countries. KDAA is currently working actively on a number of projects, including researches, workshops, open studios, exhibitions, and explorations. The main activities conducted by KDAA so far, are as following: In summer 2018, the first international architecture workshop was successfully conducted in Berlin, Germany, through the active participation of the Korean students of the department of architecture for about two weeks. The exchange continued between the Korean and German communities through the activities held in Berlin in winter 2019. This exchanging conference is willing to study the universal architectural culture of European societies in particular of Germany and to communicate with them. And this is realized by pursuing the city and architecture of integrated thinking far beyond the development of individual units through local approaches. The fundamental purpose of our exchange is to present solutions to various urban problems faced by modern society.
